PET OF THE WEEK: WIXY helped more than 100 animals find forever homes!

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — We welcome our newest sponsor, Curtis Road Animal Hospital, to our weekly segment, Pet of the Week! What a perfect way for them to continue to partner with Illini Media Group to bring attention to the many animals who need homes in this community.

This week, Kim, from Moore’s Rescue Ranch, joined us to give us a wrap-up of 2025. Kim and Duane looked back at all of the people and pets they helped in 2025, and what they need in 2026: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1D9cDhksvp/ (hint: volunteers, fosters, and financial support.)

In the next few weeks, we will hear from CATsNAP, and visit Curtis Road Animal Hospital in person to get a tour with Duane Shannon on WIXY 100.3.
