PET OF THE WEEK: Nala is an energetic terrier and pit bull mix

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Nala has been available for adoption for over 90 days and is ready to come home with you! Because of her time spent there, the Champaign County Humane Society (CCHS) has waived all adoption fees!

Nala is a one-year-old female terrier and pit bull mix weighing at about 50.8 lbs. She lived with older children in her previous home and was likely the only pet in the home. CCHS considers her more of a “people dog.” She loves to get active, move around, and is in need of enrichment and stimulation. She also loves snuggles and playing with her stuffed toy monkey. She used to be a mother, but was relinquished from her old home due to unfortunate circumstances. Nala is also currently on a prescription diet for urinary care.
