PET OF THE WEEK: Meet majesty, the terrier pitbull

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Meet Majesty, a fabulous terrier pit bull mix!

Majesty is a female 6-year-old terrier pit bull mix at the Champaign County Humane Society (CCHS). She was brought to CCHS when her previous owner couldn’t give her the love she deserved. She might not be the most popular at the dog park, but she’s ready to reign solo! She loves being the center of attention and she already has experience living with children.

Majesty is a long-term resident, which means she has been available for adoption for over 90 days. The adoption fee is waived, which means she can be picked up for free! Majesty is also a CCHS staff favorite. Here’s what adoption supervisor, Dani, has to say about her:

“Majesty is such a sweet girl with a heart of gold. She is quick to get along with everyone she meets and is so easy-going. At 7 years old, Majesty has outgrown any puppy antic behavior and is a well-mannered and calm girl who loves to snuggle. Though she needs to go to a home where she will be the only dog, she would thrive in almost any type of living environment, including one with kids! Majesty is such a great girl who has been overlooked time and time again. I can’t believe she is still at the shelter! Don’t let her cropped ears and muscular build fool you, she is a total teddy bear who just wants to love and be loved in return. Come by CCHS and take a chance on our girl Majesty – you won’t regret it!”
