CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – This week’s Pet of the Week is Skye, a beautiful, gray tabby with the biggest green eyes. She is about two years old, and Moore’s Rescue Ranch pulled her from Animal Control in Sangamon County a few days ago. They went to get kittens and met Skye and couldn’t leave her behind. Chambana Today’s Editor, Elizabeth Hess, was so tempted to bring Skye home – she was the lap cat everyone needs. (Elizabeth made a pact with Duane Shannon of WIXY they wouldn’t adopt any more of the pets that were brought to the studio.)
