PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Kiara, the ultimate sweetheart looking for her fur-ever home

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – This staff-favorite at the Champaign County Humane Society (CCHS) will be missed when she leaves, but she’s ready to become your favorite girl.

Meet Kiara, a one-year-old who can’t wait for her life to begin in her forever home! She is a Terrier/Pit Bull mix weighing in at just under 50 lbs.

This sweet girl was born on a property where there were lots of other dogs, and she came to CCHS when there were just too many. It took her a while to get used to people she had never met, having started life down on the farm, but once this super smart lady realized she was among friends, she opened up and showed them how ready she was to play and explore!

Kiara loves treats and toys, and while she doesn’t love to share her stuff, she does like being around other dogs. Kiara would love a home with room to play and some friends to play with her. If you have an active lifestyle and would love to show off all the tricks this intelligent girl has learned, Kiara would be a great match for you! Come meet and apply for Kiara at CCHS!

Kiara is a staff favorite pet! Adoption staff member Brandi says, “Kiara is the ultimate introverted sweetheart! She may start off as a shy girl hiding her lovable charms, but once she unleashes her cuteness, your heart will be in her paws! Kiara craves cuddles, playtime with all the toys, and a cozy spot on the couch for some TV binging. Give her a chance to shine by being patient and kind, and she’ll show you the magic that makes her one-of-a-kind!”
