PET OF THE WEEK: Meet JoJo at the Champaign County Humane Society

CHAMPAIGN, IL  – Independent, but loving; this kitty is the cat’s meow.

Meet Jojo! She is an adorable six-year-old domestic medium-hair cat available for adoption at the Champaign County Humane Society. Jojo was relinquished to the shelter in March of this year. Having lived her entire life in a home previously, Jojo wasn’t too thrilled about entering the shelter and made sure her displeasure was known to our staff! She has since settled in and is ready to start the next chapter of her life.

Jojo is a total “cat.” She only wants attention and human interaction on her terms. When she is in the mood, she’ll softly nudge her forehead against your hand to encourage you to pet her. Jojo has the softest fur you will possibly ever touch, and she enjoys being brushed.

Her previous owner described her as a “lap cat” and would be a good fit for someone looking for a kitty who is a tad on the independent side.

JoJo is ready for her new FUR-EVER home. Visit her today at the Champaign County Humane Society.
