PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Casey, the cute Domestic Shorthair

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Casey is a charming little Domestic Shorthair who is looking for his forever home at the Champaign County Humane Society (CCHS).

Casey is a six-year-old male Domestic Shorthair weighing at 12.26 lbs. He is a charming little guy who is in need of a new owner after his previous one got sick. He is a quiet little guy, who is sweet and shy. Casey takes his time to warm up to new faces and is a lone wolf in the way that he socializes. However, he is an adorable cat and is sure to warm up to you with the right amount of love.

Casey is a CCHS Staff Favorite. This is what staff member, Brandi has to say about him:

Casey is quite the talker and always has something to say. Casey can be quite affectionate, but he has a lot of energy, so he would love someone to play with. With his higher energy and lack of impulse control, he wouldn’t do great with children under 10 years old. Casey loves to spend his time looking out a window and telling you what he sees. He is sure to give his family lots of laughs and tons of affection once he settles into his new home!
