Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, are settling into life as new parents. Nicole  did an Instaram Q&A last night and revealed the inspiration behind their son’s name. Tex Lawrence’s name comes from both sides of the family. Luke’s great uncle’s name is Tex and Lawrence is Nicole’s father’s name. Luke will return to the road on Thursday for a string of shows in Canada.


The Netflix series, Stranger Things, has a country music connection. Mason Kerr, the actor who plays “Jason Carver”, is the older brother of Maddie & Tae‘s Taylor Kerr. The girls say they might be a little biased but they think Mason is one of the best things about the show.


 

James Caan has passed away. The iconic actor who has starred in movies like The Godfather, Misery, Brian’s Song and Elf died last night.  He was 82.
