Country artists will help ring in the new year duringĀ  New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash airing on CBS. The five hour special will include performances by from more than 50 artists at different venues around Nashville. The star studded lineup includes Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and more.


Dolly Parton has broken three new Guiness Worl Records. First is most decades on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for a female at seven. She has the most number one hits for a female on that same chart with 25. She has also broken her own record for having the most hits on the Hot Country Songs chart with 109.


Miranda Lambert recently made a trip to Tractor Supply to purchase thousands of dollars worth of pet food, toys and supplies that she donated to animal shelters in Tennessee. Miranda started the MuttNation Foundation with her mom back in 2009. The organization’s mission is to promote the adoption of shelter pets, advance spay and neuter and educate the public about the benefits of these actions. They also work with transport partners to assist and relocate animals during times of natural disaster.
