Gabby Barrett will perform at the CMA Awards next week and she’s a little nervous.  She and her husband, Cade, are expecting a baby girl in early 2021 and she says she’s having a little trouble breathing being in her third trimester and having a baby crushing her diaphragm. Even though she’s nervous, Gabby is also very excited. Her goal for this year was to be nominated for a CMA Award and she succeeded. I Hope is nominated for Single of the Year.

Robin Roberts will be hosting another pre-CMA special on ABC.  Reba, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley are among artists who will appear.  They will be discussing how the pandemic has impacted the country music industry, how it will adapt and move forward. Country Strong 2020: Countdown to the CMA Awards will air on Tuesday night.
