Grammy nominations were announced earlier today. Miranda Lambert was nominated in three country music categories.  Ingrid Andress, Old Dominion and Little Big Town each earned two nominations in country categories and Ingrid was the only artist nominated in an all genre category. She is nominated for Best New Artist. The Grammy Awards will be handed out January 31.

Miranda Lambert is expanding the impact of her MuttNation Foundation. She set up the Waggle fund back in September to help people in the music community pay for their pets health care during the pandemic.  Now the Waggle fund will also provide aid to animals injured in natural disasters and provide senior dog owners financial aid to pay their pets medical bills.

Hal Ketchum passed away last night after a battle with dementia. Ketchum was best known for his hits like, Small Town Saturday Night and Past The Point of Rescue.  Hal Ketchum was 67.
