Morgan Wallen is a dad. He surprised fans with the news of his son’s birth on Instagram last night. Morgan and his ex, KT Smith, welcomed Indie Wilder, on Friday in Nashville.

The Academy of Country Music has announce that the 56th annual ACM Awards will air April 18, 2021. Crazy, since the 55th annual show hasn’t even happened yet. They were scheduled for April 5 but were postponed due to COVID-19. The show will now take place on September 16 from3 different iconic, Nashville locations, the Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Café.  Keith Urban will host the show.

Tim McGraw will release his 16th studio album, Here On Earth, on August 21. It’s his first new solo project since 2015. In 2017 Tim and his wife, Faith Hill, released a duets album titled, The Rest of Our Life. Tim says he plans to kick of the album with a “first of it’s kind” live stream experience the day of the release.

Luke Combs has set a record on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. His sophomore album, What You See Is What You Get, is back at the top of that chart this week.  It’s the album’s 25th week in that spot, which makes Luke the first artist in the charts history to have his first two albums spend 25 weeks at number 1.
