Garth Brooks has been announced as one of the artists that will receive the Kennedy Center Honors this year. He will be honored along with his fellow honorees that include, Danville native, Dick Van Dyke. The ceremony is normally held in December but because of the pandemic was postponed until May.

Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren Bushnell enjoyed a getaway to the U.S. Virgin Islands. The couple are expecting their first child later this year and the trip served as a babymoon and a honeymoon.

Gabby Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner are also going to be first time parents but for them, it is going to happen any day now. Gabby says she is ready thanks to some pointers on motherhood that she received from her friend and fellow American Idol alum, Carrie Underwood.
