Luke Bryan will be returning for his fifth season as an American Idol judge along with Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. Virtual auditions for the next season begin on Friday. No premiere date has been announced.

Garth Brooks is standing by his decision to pull his name out of the running for the CMA Entertainer of the Year award.  Garth has won the award seven times and is grateful for all of them but says it is someone elses turn.

Tonight, Carly Pearce will officially become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry. This is happening just months after winning two ACM awards for her hit song, I Hope Your Happy Now. For Carly it’s 31 years of dreams coming true.
