Brett Young and his wife, Taylor welcomed their daughter, Rowan Marie, on July 21. Her name has special meaning on Taylor’s side of the family. Her ancestors came to Virginia in 1606 and befriended a judge by the name of John Rown. His last name, became a family name, in the judge’s honor. Marie is the middle name of Taylor’s grandmother, great-grandmother and great-aunt. Rowan joins big sister, Presley, who was born in October of 2019.

Jake Owen is facing a copywright infringement lawsuit over his song, Made For You. Songwriters, Alexander Cardinale and Morgan Reid claim that the song is too similar to a song of the same title, that Cardinale released in 2014. Jake did not write his song and so far has not commented on the lawsuit.
