Nicole’s Nashville News- April 19

Luke Bryan took home the Entertainer of the Year Award at last night ACMs. It’s his third win in that category. Luke was not in Nashville to accept his award, he was in Los Angeles for American Idol, which was also live.

Some of the other ACM winners include:

Maren Morris won her second straight Female Artis of the Year award.  , Male Artist of the Year went to Thomas Rhett, Group of the Year, Old Dominion and Duo of the Year, Dan + Shay.

Dan + Shay performed from the Bluebird Cafe during the show and there were some technical issues. The audio/video were not synced up during the performance. Many fans wondered if the guys were lip syncing. They did not but they did tape their performance the day before and that is what caused the issue.

Lauren Alaina will star in an upcoming film. She isn’t allowed to share many details at this time but says she is the lead actress in the movie and she will begin filming in Canada, very soon.
