Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire are in the studio together.  Producer John Carter Cash shared photos on social media of the country superstars in the Cash Cabin recording studio, which was built by his father, Johnny Cash. He did not share any details. They say the project is a secret.

Dan + Shay released a new Christmas song today. It’s called Take Me Home For Christmas.  The guys have not released a full Christmas album yet. They said while they would love to, it’s hard to find the time. You usually have to start recording them in March or April to have them ready in time.

This year’s CMA Awards will include three different tributes to country stars that we lost this year. The biggest will be the Charlie Daniels tribute that will open the show. It will feature Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Brothers Osborne and Ashley McBryde. Jon Pardi will pay tribute to Joe Diffie and Little Big Town will honor Kenny Rogers. The CMA Awards will air Wednesday on ABC.
