Sidney gears up for Fun Daze 2025 with music, family activities, and community

SIDNEY, IL (Chambana Today) – The village of Sidney is ready to celebrate summer with its annual Fun Daze 2025 festival, packed with two days of family-friendly activities, live music, and hometown pride on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26.

The festivities kick off Friday at 3 p.m. with the Lego Derby build and practice session. The beer tent and vendor booths open at 5 p.m., alongside live music from Dakota Danielle. Runners and walkers will gather at 7 p.m. for the Savannah Day 2.96 Memorial Run/Walk, followed by a high-energy performance by 90’s Daughter at 9 p.m.

Saturday begins early with breakfast at Sidney United Church from 8–10 a.m., followed by a Local Author event at the library. Children can enjoy the Kiddie Bike Parade and Kiddie Tractor Pull, while car enthusiasts register for the Car Show. Throughout the day, visitors can explore local vendors, participate in the Bags Tournament, and visit Bertrand’s Petting Zoo and Fun to Go Inflatables.

The Parade begins at 3 p.m. and leads into a Harry Potter Birthday Bash at the library from 3:30–5:30 p.m. The evening wraps up with live performances by Luke Rund at 5 p.m. and Kolten Taylor & The Truck Toppers from 9 p.m. to midnight.
