CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – REO Speedwagon will reunite for a special retrospective concert in Champaign this summer, celebrating the band’s long legacy. The concert will be held on June 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the State Farm Center, and will feature former members Neal Doughty, Alan Gratzer, Bruce Hall, Terry Luttrell, Mike Murphy, and Steve Scorfina. The evening will also honor the memory of the band’s late members, Gary Richrath and Gregg Philbin.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale March 21, with prices ranging from $25 to $185. The event promises to be an unforgettable night of music, as the band celebrates its iconic history.

REO Speedwagon’s roots in Champaign date back to 1966 when Neal Doughty and Alan Gratzer met at the University of Illinois. The two formed the band in 1967 and performed across campus before expanding their lineup and achieving nationwide success. Throughout the years, REO Speedwagon has seen several lineup changes but has remained a staple of rock music.
