CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Parlor Doughnuts, the fast-growing doughnut chain with more than 100 locations nationwide, has announced the launch of its first-ever savory doughnut lineup, marking a significant expansion beyond its traditional sweet offerings. The new menu, available beginning Jan. 20, introduces a bold, savory twist on the brand’s signature Famous Layered Doughnuts™.
The savory doughnuts feature Parlor’s signature layered dough, known for its light, airy interior and crispy, flaky exterior. Unlike traditional doughnuts, the dough itself is not sweet, allowing savory flavors to take center stage. Each doughnut is coated in herbs and parmesan cheese, baked to a golden finish, and topped with fresh, complementary ingredients.
“This launch allows us to stay true to our doughnut roots while expanding the category in a way that drives new afternoon and snack-time occasions,” said Justin Riat, Parlor Doughnuts’ chief growth officer. He noted that the new offerings also provide franchise owners with an opportunity to grow sales beyond the morning rush.
Savory Doughnuts will be available daily starting at 11 a.m. in six varieties:
- OG Pepperoni
- Pig & Fig
- Margherita
- Hawaiian BBQ Chicken
- Chicken Bacon Ranch
- Buffalo Chicken
The brand is also introducing Savory Minis, offered exclusively in boxes of 10 or as part of a combo box, each served with a complimentary dipping sauce such as red sauce, beer cheese, ranch, or alfredo.
Customers can order the new savory items for in-store pickup, online ordering, delivery, and catering through Parlor’s app or website. At launch, the doughnuts will be offered as designed, with a special request option available for guests with allergy concerns.
