OSF expands access to quality healthcare in Forsyth; welcomes Dr. Ogun

FORSYTH, IL (Chambana Today) – Forsyth-area residents will soon have increased access to primary care through an expansion of services at the OSF Medical Group clinic at 845 US Route 51.

Aminat Ogun, MD, a family medicine physician, will see patients on Wednesdays beginning June 19. People of all ages can see Dr. Ogun for a variety of primary care issues including annual physicals, illnesses, mental health concerns, and more.  Dr. Ogun is a native of Nigeria and has been with OSF HealthCare since 2022.

“I believe in treating someone as I would treat my own family,” Dr. Ogun says. “I also think patient education is important because it leads to a better understanding of your health.”
“We are pleased to expand primary care to the Forsyth area,” says Marcia Cooper, vice president of Operations for OSF Medical Group. “Seeing a provider quickly is important to maintaining good health. Residents in the Forsyth area will soon have another option for timely and quality primary care.”
Dr. Ogun will join obstetrics and gynecology providers who are already seeing patients at the Forsyth clinic. OSF HealthCare is exploring bringing other specialties to the clinic to meet the needs of the area.
