MAHOMET, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Mahomet is set to expand its public library with a kickoff meeting next week. The event is an opportunity for neighbors, friends, and supporters of the library to come together and celebrate the future of the library.
The event will be held on Monday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Edgar Room at Mahomet Public Library, located at 1702 East Oak Street in Mahomet.
At the gathering, attendees will hear an overview of the expansion plans and what they will mean for the community. Testimonials from members of the community will also be held. After the main program, volunteers who are helping with fundraising and communications will have a chance to meet and share ideas.
