CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – A limited number of tickets remain for the annual Kickin’ Cancer dinner and auction, scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at Gordyville USA. The event, which benefits the Coaches vs. Cancer program, will feature Illinois Head Coach Brad Underwood, along with Chris Collins of Northwestern, Dana Altman of Oregon, and Robbie Hummel, former Purdue star and national TV analyst.

The evening, running from 5-9 p.m., will include a dinner, silent and live auctions, and speeches from the coaches. The program will kick off at 7 p.m., with plenty of opportunities for guests to hear memorable stories from the featured speakers. The event will take place at Gordyville USA in Gifford, Illinois, just 30 minutes from Champaign. While the event has a western theme, attendees are encouraged to wear Illini gear.

Last year, the event raised around $500,000 for cancer research and attracted a crowd of 1,700. This year’s event is approaching a sellout, but tickets are still available online.
