Leaf collection resumes for Urbana’s Friday route

URBANA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Delayed pickup rescheduled for December 22, residents asked to set leaves out by Sunday

Leaf collection for Urbana residents on the Friday U-Cycle route resumed after an earlier delay, with crews scheduled to collect bagged leaves on Monday, December 22.

The pickup was originally planned for Friday, December 5, but was postponed. U-Cycle officials are asking residents on the Friday route to place bagged leaves at the curb by Sunday, December 21, to ensure they are collected at the start of the following week.

Residents are reminded to make sure all bagged leaves are clearly visible from the street so crews can easily access them.
