Korean restaurant chain So Gong Dong to open location in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – A classic Korean dish is set to become a lot more accessible in the CU.

So Gong Dong, a chain of restaurants most well-known for its sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew), has locations all across the country, including nine in the Chicagoland area.

The restaurant will be located on campus at 707 South 6th Street, Suite #105. It will be next to Kung Fu Tea, and move into the space previously occupied by Chinese restaurant Szechuan Taste.

The space is currently closed for renovations, with a grand opening date yet to be posted on the front of the store.
