Juvenile arrests made after 13-year-old stabbed in Danville fight

Danville, Ill. (Chambana Today) — A 13-year-old girl is recovering from non-life-threatening stab wounds after a altercation late Sunday night in Danville.

At approximately 11:20 p.m. on September 21, officers responded to reports of a fight in progress in the 100 block of East Davis Street. Upon arrival, police located the injured juvenile and immediately transported her to a local hospital for treatment.

As part of their investigation, officers found three other juveniles hiding in the basement of a nearby apartment building. After collecting evidence and taking statements, Danville Police arrested a 12-year-old, a 14-year-old, and a 16-year-old girl. All three face multiple charges, including aggravated battery and mob action.

Due to the ages of those involved, no additional details are being released at this time.
