URBANA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Illinois Public Media and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are inviting teens to apply for Teen Summit 2.0: The Remix, a unique program and casting call on February 4, 2026, from 3:30–7:00 p.m. at WILL Illinois Public Media, 300 N. Goodwin, Urbana.
This hands-on experience gives participants the chance to amplify their thoughts, develop media and civic skills, and broadcast their perspectives to a national audience. Teens selected for the program will receive training in social media, public speaking, safety and ethics, and portfolio development. Spaces are limited, and a competitive application process ensures a select group of participants will be chosen. Interested teens must submit an application to attend.
The event’s theme, “Two Sides. One Voice,” emphasizes respectful dialogue, storytelling, and civic engagement, giving young people the tools to make their voices heard. More information and application instructions are available at Illinois Public Media’s website.
