CHICAGO, IL (Chambana Today) – The Illinois Lottery is looking for the unknown owner of a winning lottery ticket.
The ticket was purchased in Chicago on October 29, 2023 at Fairplay Finer Foods, located at 2200 South Western Avenue in Chicago. It is an unclaimed Lucky Day Lotto ticket and is worth $250,000 in prize money. With almost an entire year between the purchase and now, the expiration of the unclaimed ticket is coming up in two weeks. The Illinois Lottery is advising players to check every nook and cranny, under every seat cushion, and in any other spots this ticket could be tucked away. This is one of seven unclaimed tickets in Illinois totalling to an unclaimed $4.5 million.
