Illinois Department of Labor and University of Illinois to discuss pay equity in Illinois

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The Illinois Department of Labor and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will host a public discussion on the status of pay equity in Illinois. The event, scheduled for Thursday, February 26, at 11 a.m., will focus on data presented in the Illinois Equal Pay Act: Comprehensive Evaluation and Policy Recommendations report. The discussion will be held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, located at 504 E. Armory Avenue in Champaign.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the current state of pay equity in Illinois, review findings from the comprehensive report, and hear about recommendations for future policy changes.
