MARSHALL, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Horizon Health will welcome the public to an open house later this month to celebrate the expansion of services at its Marshall Clinic, including the launch of a new family medicine practice.

The open house is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the clinic, located at 1000 North 2nd Street in Marshall. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m.

Guests can expect facility tours, refreshments, giveaways, educational materials, and the opportunity to meet staff members, including Nurse Practitioner Mallory Simonton, who leads the clinic’s newly opened family medicine service.

The EZ Care walk-in clinic, which relocated to the same building in April, will close early at 3 p.m. that day to accommodate the event. Patients in need of care can visit Paris EZ Care, open until 7 p.m., located at 1 Phipps Lane in Paris.

The new family medicine clinic provides comprehensive care with a focus on health and wellness and is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are required.

EZ Care continues to operate as a non-emergency clinic treating minor health issues on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Providers Lori Carpenter and Natasha Morgan are the clinic’s full-time nurse practitioners.
