WASHINGTON, IL — Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Washington is waking up $850,000 richer.

The Illinois Lottery announced that one player matched all five numbers in the Tuesday, Feb. 10 evening Lucky Day Lotto drawing to win the game’s $850,000 jackpot. The winning numbers were 1-5-7-14-24.

The winning ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store, 902 Walnut St., in Washington. For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, the store will receive a bonus of 1% of the prize amount — $8,500.

Nearly 52,000 winning tickets were sold in Tuesday evening’s drawing, awarding close to $1 million in total prizes statewide.

Lottery officials remind winners they have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. Players are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their winnings.

Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only draw game with two daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m., with jackpots starting at $100,000. Tickets are available in-store, online and through the Illinois Lottery app.

The Illinois Lottery advises players to play responsibly. Participants must be 18 or older.
