29th annual Schlarman Raffle promises big cash prizes and celebration

OAKWOOD, IL. (Chambana Today) — The 29th Annual Schlarman Raffle returns this spring with a grand prize of $100,000 cash and several special anniversary drawings to celebrate Schlarman’s 80th year. The event will take place Friday, May 1, at the Vermilion County Fairgrounds, located at 17528 N 1180 East Rd.

Attendees can enjoy live music from Ninety’s Daughter, food trucks including Burrito King and That Wiener Wagon, and a lively party atmosphere starting at 6:30 p.m. The raffle drawing begins at 9 p.m.

In addition to the grand prize, the second-place winner will receive $20,000, third place $10,000, and 22 other cash prizes will be awarded. Special anniversary drawings will award multiple $800 winners on February 27, March 27, and April 24, plus two $2,900 winners on April 29.

Tickets cost $100 each and can be purchased online at schlarman.com or by phone at 217-442-1184 or 1-800-747-0800. Winners need not be present to claim prizes. The event is open to the public for those 21 and older.
