WIXY 100.3 FM (“The Station”) will conduct the Illini Kick-Off contest from August 17, 2026 through November 16, 2026 to offer listeners the chance to win a family four-pack of tickets to an Illinois Football home game. To participate, listeners must register at the station’s website, WIXY.com, during the contest period. Each Monday prior to a home football game, one winner will be randomly chosen and will win four tickets to the next football home game. Tickets are valued at $32 each ($128 for the four-pack) based on suggested retail value. The Stations will contact winners by email and make a reasonable effort to award prizes within seven days of winning.
The Station’s contests are open to all eligible Illinois or Indiana residents 18 or older who live or work within a 75-mile radius of the WIXY 100.3 studios and who have not won anything on the Stations in the past 30 days, or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past six months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of The Station, Illini Radio Group, Saga Communications of Illinois, LLC and its parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families or each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a 100-mile radius of The Station’s main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This includes individuals for whom the employee is legal guardian.
No purchase necessary. The Stations’ sole responsibility will be to award the prize. The Stations will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more awarded on or before 12/31/2025 or of a prize valued at $2,000 or more awarded on or after 1/1/2026 will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the WIXY studios prior to claiming prize. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds the previous specified value. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
For any contests involving tickets to live performances, events, airline travel, trips, etc., winners will need to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols put in place by the organizers/providers.
