 FARMER CITY HERITAGE DAYS

WHEN: THUR, MAY 28 – SAT, MAY 30, 2026

WHERE: FARMER CITY / DEWITT COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

FARMER CITY, ILLINOIS (NOVEMBER 21, 2025): The 2026 Heritage Days Committee is excited to announce the main events for this year’s festival. In partnership with T&A Bucking Bulls and Rugged Cross Cattle Company, Heritage Days will host a spectacular 2-Day Rodeo Event in Farmer City that is set to be the festival’s highlight. Attendees can expect an action-packed lineup, including thrilling bull riding, ranch bronc riding, exciting barrel racing, and entertaining rodeo activities, ensuring an unforgettable experience for both rodeo enthusiasts and families.

Following a successful 2025 event, this year’s festival will continue at the Farmer City/Dewitt County Fairgrounds. This venue not only provides ample space for more vendors and diverse food trucks but also enables us to significantly expand free kids’ activities and the highly popular 5K run. Clearing Main Street will allow us to organize a festive “Cruise” down the street, coinciding with the car show entries, bringing together car lovers and the community for celebration.

Be sure to stick around each night after the rodeo, as we will feature exciting main stage concerts at the arena. On the evening of Friday, May 29, 2026, we are thrilled to welcome the rural, blue-collar country rock duo Lakeview, known for their hits “Home Team” and “See Me in A Suit.” Their performance promises to be a highlight of the festival.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, we welcome country music artist Randy Houser, known for his distinctive voice described by The New York Times as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing.” With over a billion streams, Houser’s hits include “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” “Goodnight Kiss,” and the CMA Song of the Year nominee “Like A Cowboy.” His fourth No. 1 single, “We Went,” is from the album “Fired Up.” His latest album, “Note To Self,” features all co-written tracks and marks his return after the acclaimed “Magnolia.” MusicRow highlights him as “one of country music’s very finest vocalists.”
