Fall Fly Away Official Contest Rules


From Monday, September 8, 2025, through Friday, October 24, 2025, listen to WIXY 100.3 FM each weekday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the Fall Fly Away contest keyword. One keyword will be given each day, Monday through Friday, at various times of the day between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Once you hear the keyword, go to WIXY.com to the Fall Fly Away contest page. Complete the registration, including the correct contest keyword, for the chance to win a trip for two people to St. Augustine, Florda, with approximate retail value of $1800. Listeners will have until the end of the day (11:59 p.m.) to enter the keyword before it expires. There will be a maximum of one entry per day, per station.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, one grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and the winner will be contacted by phone. The grand prize is a trip for two to St. Augustine, Florida including roundtrip airfare, three nights accommodations and admission for two to St. Augustine Scenic Cruises and St. Augustine Sightseeing Train. Total approximate retail value of the grand prize is $1800. We will make reasonable efforts to award the prize within 30 days of winning.

  • Travel must be booked at least 120 days in advance.
  • No holidays or special events.
  • Winner is responsible for all taxes, resort fee and incidentals.
  • Flights are chosen at the discretion of Sun and Fun Media.
  • Other terms and conditions may apply at time of booking.

WIXY 100.3 FM will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously with other affiliated Illini Media Group radio stations. Listeners of WIXY 100.3 FM will, therefore, be competing with listeners of other radio stations to win the same prize. No purchase necessary. In the case of any query or discrepancy, the winner will ultimately be decided at the sole discretion of Illini Media Group.

All WIXY 100.3 FM contests are open to all eligible residents 21 or over (unless otherwise specified) living within 75 miles of station transmitter(s). Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to WIXY 100.3 FM that will be presented to WIXY 100.3 FM and accepted before the prize is awarded. Employees of WIXY 100.3 FM, its advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the WIXY 100.3 FM main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and

great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.

Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of the winner. WIXY 100.3 FM reserves the right to substitute for a prize of similar value.

All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the WIXY 100.3 FM studios prior to claiming the prize. All winners will be sent an IRS Form 1099 MISC federal tax form, if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds $600.

For any contests involving tickets to live performances, events, airline travel, trips, etc., winners will need to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols put in place by the organizers/providers.
