A new way to wake up on WIXY!

Good morning, WIXY country! As you heard this morning, Melissa is leaving WIXY to start a new adventure with her family out of state, leaving a spot open for a new wake up crew–that’s us! We’re Duane & Abby and we’re so excited to be your new morning show. We’ve been married for 15 years and working together on the air even longer–yep, we’re one of those “met at work” couples!

Abby is originally from NW Indiana, just over the state line, so coming to WIXY country is coming home for us. We just made one of our biggest dreams come true–we bought some property on a county road and the past couple weeks we’ve been working to make it home.

And from the first listen, we’ve been in love with WIXY. We were so burned out on country radio and didn’t really even realize it until we started listening to WIXY. This is a great radio station, with an awesome mix of music, that truly serves its community, and we’re so ready to be part of it!

There will be some growing pains, change isn’t easy, and we’ll make mistakes, but we’re excited to grow with you. Thank you for this opportunity, WIXY country, we’re gonna give it everything we have and make you proud!

Reach out to us at Abby@WIXY.com or on Facebook!
