Police in Flint, Michigan, were called to a liquor store for two men who had stolen two cases of beer and fled the store. The store owner and some bystanders were chasing the men and told police the direction the thieves were headed. The police officer ended up finding one of the men. He was sitting in the rear of a home on the back of a junk car drinking one of the cans of beer he stole.

Trains on some Time Square subway lines bypassed a station for about an hour Monday. What looked liked a hand grenade on the tracks turned out to be a Chinese lantern.

A man in Maine dressed as Batman villain The Joker was arrested on a drunken driving charge after he lost control of his vehicle. Pittsfield Police say Dennis Lalime lost control of his car around 2 AM Sunday and crashed into multiple trees and a rock. He told police he was on his way home from a Halloween party.
