A UK man is currently texting the entire works of Shakespeare to a fraudulent online vendor who refused to send him the PS3 he’d purchased. It all started when 24-year-old Edd Joseph paid $130 for a PS3 on the classified ad site Gumtree, and the seller never delivered it to him. Feeling really helpless, Joseph started brainstorming ways he could get back at the person who’d ripped him off. What he came up with was a really long text message. Joseph copied and pasted the Shakespear play Macbeth into his phone’s text message field and set it off to his scammer. Because of a 160 character text limit, Macbeth was brocken down into over 17,000 text messages. Basically, the fraudster’s phone hasn’t stopped buzzing for the past week. Joseph will reportedly send Shakespeare’s remaining works over the next few days.
