A group of US Air Force pilots have come up with an insignia that is bound to stun the enemy — a “My Little Pony” patch. A class of flight students at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma have adopted the pink cartoon patch for their group during training. Under a little pink and purple rainbow it reads: “My Little Pilot. Flying is magic.”
… If you’ve never heard of this, adult males who are fans of “My Little Pony” are referred to as “Bronies”. How big is all this? If you go online to BronyCon.org, you’ll discover that this year’s Brony convention happens to be this weekend in Baltimore. Activities include a Brony swag trading and Brony-Karaoke.
“Walk it off” is the kind of medical advice one might expect from a baseball coach — not a doctor. A girl in England was told to go home and “walk it off” by a physician after badly breaking her leg in a roller-skating accident. After going home and remaining in pain, she went to a hospital where she got an X-ray and was finally put in a cast.
London firefighters report that over the last 3 years they’ve seen a huge increase in the number of people with personal body parts caught in various household objects.
… Good news, however. Their rescue efforts will soon be made into a movie called “Saving Private Ryan’s Privates.”
