Bradford City, Pennsylvania, police were summoned to a home on a report of a gunshot victim. They arrived to find a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand. It was no accident. Police say the man shot himself, on purpose. Police say he was “highly intoxicated” and was “trying to get rid of his wedding ring,” but couldn’t get it off his finger, and therefore decided to “shoot it off.” His finger was nearly severed — but they found his ring was still on his finger.
