A pipe bomb containing rifle gun powder was recently found on the roof of an elementary school in Layton, Utah. Police have since destroyed the horrifying device, but say that things could have been serious had it been joined with a lit fuse. A Florida (Casselberry) couple is accused of leaving a child alone outside a bar for an hour and a half. A passer-by noticed the 7-year-old boy about 10:30 Friday night and called police.
Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle stopped in the middle of a Bradenton, Florida, intersection at 1:45 AM on Saturday. When deputies arrived they observed a man asleep at the wheel of a silver Hyundai with the motor running and the gear in drive while the traffic light cycled through multiple sets of green lights. A deputy entered the passenger side of the car and put the vehicle in park and then awoke the driver, who said he was not driving — his brother was. His brother wasn’t in the car.
