ROBBERS LEAVE FOOTPRINTS IN SNOW _ Six people in Britain allegedly took part in a convenience-store robbery (in Whitnash) and then ran off to an apartment complex. Police tracked down the suspects by following their footprints in the snow.

MEN CAUGHT SMOKING POT IN POLICE LOT _ The New Jersey State Police said a trooper followed the scent of marijuana to a group of alleged pot smokers. It was an easy bust since the law-breakers were in the police barracks parking lot.

MAN SAID HIS “ZIP CODE WAS HOW MUCH HE HAD TO DRINK” _ Bradenton, Florida, police tried to pull over a car that was rolling on its rims Monday morning. After trying to catch up with the vehicle for a short time, it crashed near a hospital. The driver, Bobby Carl Wiley, reportedly had an expired driver’s license. And he was intoxicated. The passenger in the car was also intoxicated and kept giving police his zip code when they asked for his phone number.

WOMAN STABBED BOYFRIEND, TOOK FAKE LEG _ Police in South Carolina said a woman arrested on a domestic violence charge allegedly stabbed her boyfriend and threw his prosthetic legs into the yard.
