DANGERBOY
You know they call me the Dangerboy, but you might not know how I got the name. It's an ironic title because the things I used to do (dye myself like an Easter Egg) were hardly dangerous.
DANGERGIRL
My wife is Mary. We met when she won a "Date With Dangerboy" contest. There really wasn't going to be a date, that's just what we called the contest (it was Valentine's Day). Her actual prize was a pair of tickets to see Trace Adkins in Danville, but we went together and have hardly been separated since.
DANGERDAD
My wife Mary and I welcomed our first child on New Years Day 2010 (we were the third baby of the year in CU!). Her name is Rosalie.
MARATHONING
I've run 6 marathons. The hardest part about running is putting on your shoes and stepping out the door. If you're not up for a marathon, try a half marathon or 5K. You'll be glad you did. Marathon running and eating better helped me lose over 50 pounds. My running advice: invest in a good pair of shoes and use them!
BOY SCOUTS
I'm an Eagle Scout and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America in East-Central Illinois. I've done everything from Vice-President of Marketing to Cub Scout Den Leader and loved every minute of it! "Remember Scouts, Be Prepared!"

Woodbadge -- Boy Scouts' highest award an adult can earn
Boy Scouts District Award of Merit -- The highest Scout District Award you can be *given* (not earned)
2nd Place -- Urbana Sweetcorn Eating competition 2005
3rd Place -- Super Mario Brothers Championships (serious)
2007 Grand Marshall -- Oakwood 4th of July Parade
Winner -- Sidell Firefighter Fun Day Blindfolded Emu Race (I was blindfolded, not the emu)
