Trial Date Set For Sugarland Stage Collapse

A trial will begin in February to determine whether Sugarland and various concert production companies should be held accountable for the 2011 stage collapse in Indianapolis that killed seven and injured dozens.

Martina McBride‘s nationwide volunteer group, Team Martina, has presented a check for over $40,000 to Nashville’s Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center. A Team Martina member lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this year and the check was presented in her honor.  Since 2011 the group has raised more than $100,000 for various causes.

Toby Keith is taking his love of motorcycles to a new level.  He has become co-owner of the Oklahoma City based, Brass Balls Cycles. The announcement was made earlier this week when Toby headlined the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Motorcycle Rally.

LeAnn Rimes and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, are getting their own reality show.  LeAnn & Eddie (not the official title at this time) will air this fall on VH1.

Jake Owen will debut his new single, Days of Gold, tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It is the first song from Jake’s fourth album, expected later this year.
