Toby Keith Is Country Music’s Highest Pay Artist?

Every year Forbes releases their list of the Highest Paid Musicians. Madonna is sitting at #1 this year with $125 million.  Toby Keith is at #4 making him the highest paid country artist, with $65 million.  Other country artists on the list include, Taylor Swift (#7, $55million)  Kenny Chesney(#9 $53 million) and Tim McGraw (#25, $32 million).

Brad Paisley will receive the Video Visionary Award at the American Country Awards on December 10.  He is being honored for 15 years of creative, entertaining music videos.  This award has only been handed out once before.  Toby Keith took it home in 2010.

Loretta Lynn received quite an honor yesterday.  She was at the White House where President Obama presented her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  Loretta was one of 16 recipients.  Others who received the nations highest civilian honor included, Oprah, “Mr. Cub”, Ernie Banks and Bill Clinton.

Kelly Clarkson will celebrate the holidays with her friends Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Blake Shelton and more in a new Christmas special.  Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale will air December 11, on NBC.
