The Band Perry Performing At Super Bowl Festivies

The Band Perry will be part of the Super Bowl pre-game festivities.  The siblings will perform at the NFL Tailgate Party, which will be televised on Fox Super Bowl Sunday. 

Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean have won a Golden Moose award.  What is a Golden Moose award?  They are the awards handed out each year by the Outdoor Channel.  Craig Morgan has one for his show on the network.  Luke and Jason join Adam LaRoche, Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson and others as hosts of the series Buck Commander and have been voted Fan Favorite Hosts.

Miranda Lambert, who we all know loves animals, is helping animal shelters all across the country.  Her MuttNation Foundation has kicked off the Mutts Across America: 50 States 50 Shelters initiative.  They will be donating at least $3,000 to one shelter in each state, for a total of more than a quarter of a million dollars nationwide.

Zac Brown, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes and Jennifer Nettles will honor Carole King as MusiCares Person of the Year.  The special event will take place tomorrow night and is one of most prestigious events held during Grammy week.
