The Band Perry gearing up for a special performance tonight, Luke & Blake join The Talk

The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards are Sunday night.  Co-hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will each make appearance on The Talk.  Blake will perform and join the ladies at the table on Wednesday and Luke on Thursday.  You can see Blake tonight on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The Band Perry will make their first appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight.  They will also perform on CBS’ Live on Letterman concert webcast tonight at 7:00.  The band’s new album Pioneer will be released tomorrow.

Trace Adkins will play the lead character in the remake of the movie, The Virgian.  Filming is underway now.

Carrie Underwood is not the only country artist you’ll see on Thursday night’s episode of American Idol.  Casey James will there too, to debut his new single.
