Jake Owen‘s Barefoot Blue Jean Night album has produced 4 consecutive number one singles (Barefoot Blue Jean Night, The One That Got Away, Alone With You, Anywhere With You).  Jake says his mechanic predicted the album would be a success.  “He looked at me when he heard Barefoot Blue Jean Night, he goes, ‘Man, I really believe that this is gonna change your life. This album, after listening to it, I think it’ll change your career.’ And I remember goin’, ‘Brad, aw, man, I appreciate that. Thanks, man.’ He goes, ‘No, I’m serious, man!’ He’s like, ‘I listened to this album more than a few times.’ He said, ‘I really believe that this one’s gonna change your life.’ He’s like, ‘Mark my word.’ ”

If you are planning a visit to the Grand Ole Opry, Darius Rucker could be your tour guide.  He is the video host for one of the new tours that the Opry has added to their backstage tour lineup.  Darius will share some of his favorite backstage memories plus video footage of Opry debuts, vintage performance and of course, the night he was asked to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Brad Paisley has been in the country music business for 13 years and still has insecurities. The one that surprises me the most is his fear that no one will show up for his shows.  “I still get fearful that they’re not there,” Paisley said. “I still think to myself, ‘Why did they do this? Why did they drive here, and why did they do this?’ That doesn’t go away.”  Brad is on the road this summer for his Beat This Summer tour with special guests Chris Young, Lee Brice and The Henningsens.
