Randy Houser and His Wife, Jessa File For Divorce

The Country Vibe is reporting that Randy Houser and his wife, Jessa, have decided to divorce.  The couple married on September 2, 2011 and have a two year old son.  Randy performed a new song on The Late Show with David Letterman last night.  If you missed it you can watch here.

Harry Connick Jr. announced yesterday that he will return for season 14 of American Idol.  Ryan Seacrest just signed a two year contract with the show so he’s in. Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez are expected to return as well.  Season 13 will wrap up next week.  The top 2 will be announced tonight and Scotty McCreery will return to the Idol stage tonight to perform his latest single.

Keith Urban is heading to Farmville.  Keith’s song, Good Thing, will be featured in the popular mobile game FarmVIlle 2: Country Escape.  Keith shared the news with Ellen Degeneres last week.

Trisha Yearwood was presented with an honorary doctorate of music from her alma mater, Young Harris College in Georgia on Saturday when she returned to the school to deliver the commencement speech.  Trisha earned her associates degree in business administration from Young Harris before continuing her education at Belmont University in Nashville.
