New Tunes And A Tour Coming From Garth

Garth Brooks has announced plans to release a new studio album next year!  It will be his first since 2001.  To promote the album, Garth will head out on a major tour and there will be a television special.

Chris Young raised over $35,000 for Stars for Stripes, a non-profit organization that provides celebrity entertainment for U.S. troops.

Before Taylor Swift takes her Red tour to Australia, she will spend the weekend celebrating in Nashville.  Her education center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will open on Saturday.  On Sunday, the National Songwriters Association International will present Taylor with her sixth Songwriter/Artist of the Year award.

American Music Award nominees were announced this morning.  Taylor Swift is leading the country nominees with five, including Artist of the Year.  Right behind Taylor is Florida Georgia Line with four nominations including New Artist of the Year.

Dierks Bentley‘s family has gotten bigger.  He and his wife, Cassidy, welcomed their son, Knox, last night.  Baby Knox joins big sisters, Evie (5) and Jordan (2).  Congratulations to the Bentley family!!
